O Cluj, ao vencer em casa o International Curtea de Arges por 2-1, em jogo da 33.ª jornada da Liga romena, conquistou este sábado o título nacional, o segundo da sua história - o primeiro foi na temporada 2007/08.
Dos quatros portugueses do plantel do Cluj, três foram titulares - o guarda-redes Nuno Claro, o defesa Tony e o médio Dani (expulso aos 81') -, enquanto Cadú não jogou. Uma parte do título também deve ser atribuída ao técnico António Conceição, que deixou o clube em novembro de 2009 (substituído pelo italiano Andrea Mandorlini), ingressando um mês depois no Belenenses, onde não conseguiu evitar a descida dos azuis do Restelo à Liga de Honra.
Bud, aos 32 minutos, e Deac, aos 74', marcaram os golos do Cluj; Apostu, aos 67', apontou o único tento da equipa visitante.
Com apenas uma jornada para o final da prova, o Cluj soma 66 pontos, 6 a mais que o Unirea Urziceni (vencedor da competição na temporada passada), sobre o qual também tem vantagem nos critérios de desempate.
